NO Auto de-click or Re-Eq.. Contains some distinctly substandard "Le 2nd XI" playing (but nice Trumpet) - however each LP contains decent (+) performances..
Many thanksfor posting these items. I grew up with that set of records, and I look forward to hearing these recordings again.

ReplyDeletePossibly a bit harsh to remark adversely on the playing, but some soloists sound 'scrawny' - Silvestri's 1958 ALP1684 (also the PCO) of Sorcier/Macabre were far more characterful (and closer-balanced) -and the orchestra can sound un-disciplined. Possibly just me - but the opening of "La Valse" seemed unusual (?).
