Muchas gracias por esta joya musical, saludos.
ReplyDeleteHary Janos gets an entertaining performance (sound is rather bright..) much better than the 1954 mono (have on LPM / Heliodor)
DeleteNice to see you adding lovely old recordings again.
ReplyDeleteHi Ed,
DeleteTBH mine are all Old recordings - lovely or not.
Some early DGG Fricsay stereo had sub-optimal surfaces (also my 1959 Bartok Bluebeard); so having previously wet-cleaned this decided on a transfer. The Einem is unconvincing as a composition. My really lovely old records remain untouched (but played..)!
